LT welcomes Little Miss LuxeWe are delighted to introduce the newest member of the Le Trousseau team - Little Miss Luxe, our weekly guest blogger. She's a doll!Bonjour lovelies! How are you? Let me introduce myself; I’m Little Miss Luxe, your friendly helpful nuptial nymph, if you will. A queen of baking and a lover of accessories, I’m here to offer advice and tips on everything wedding, including making your own cupcakes, creating your own jewellery, making a one off, unique fascinator and even showing you how to make your own tiara. Not only that, but as a fervent wedding aficionado I’ll be telling you all about the fabulous weddings I’ve been to, covering Hen Do’s (and Dont’s!) and discussing those topical (and often controversial) issues from children at weddings to what to do about plus ones! How did I become part of the Le Trousseau team? Well, I’ve known Elizabeth, the company’s owner for years after meeting at work and I knew she was up to something marvellous after she returned from honeymoon! When I saw the fabulous Le Trousseau online boutique, it was love at first sight. I heart everything Elizabeth and Jody have sought out and collated in this magnificent emporium l’Amour! What’s my favourite item in the house of Le Trousseau? I think for me it’s got to be the ceramic love tokens – they are just so simple; the perfect final touch. Although I have to confess to feeling quite a lot of love for the Just Married paper chain and ribbon too! I’ll be popping up on a weekly basis, but at the moment I’m full of excitement as I’ve just got back from the most fantastic wedding in Dorset. The beautifully blissful couple had a 1950s inspired do that was breathtakingly amazing and I can’t wait to tell you all about it very soon. Keep your eyes peeled for fab photography, 50s fashion and some DIY deliciousness. Next week I’m going to give you a fabulous fascinator master-class – perfect for your mum, mother in law or girlfriends. You can make them as classic or as flamboyant as you want! Did you know the name ‘Fascinator’ originated from the fine lacy shawl-like coverings made from wool or lace worn in the 19th Century but it is also defined as ‘one who bewitches or fascinates’, sharing etymology with the Latin ‘fascinare’ meaning to cast a spell on? I am pretty sure we all fall into that category! So my bewitching beauties, betrothed or beloved one and all, if you’ve got any burning bridal questions or just fancy a good old nuptial natter then drop me a line at: littlemissluxe@letrousseau.co.uk Beaucoup d'amour LML x
